TRUE Certification

The TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) Certification is GBCI's latest rating system focused on Zero Waste efforts in buildings and facilities. The rating system aims to divert materials away from landfills, incinerators, and the environment by reducing the amount of waste generated. TRUE-Certified facilities are efficient and high-performing supporters of the circular economy. Contact us to find out if the TRUE is right for you!

WELL Certification

Living Building Challenge

The Living Building Certification (LBC) is one of the most comprehensive Certifications that a building can get. It provides a framework for design, construction and the symbiotic relationship between people and all aspects of the built environment. Within this certification, there are the categories or, “Petals”; Site, Water, Energy, Health, Materials, Equity and Beauty that are certifications within themselves.

All About Waste specializes in providing businesses with the MATERIALS petal certification. This certification helps create a materials economy that is “non-toxic, ecologically restorative, transparent and socially equitable.“ Contact Us if you think the LBC’s Materials Petal is right for you!

The SITES Certification offered by GCBI focuses on sustainable landscape design and development. SITES can be awarded to any piece of land with or without buildings, to create ecologically resilient communities that benefit the environment, property owners, communities and economies and enhance the benefits we get from healthy, functioning landscapes.

All About Waste is an authorized distributor of the SITES Certification, and will help your team meet the necessary requirements. Contact Us if you think the SITES Certification is right for you!

The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) reporting initiative is the global standard for Commercial Real Estate businesses. This tool is used by investors to manage Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)  risks and opportunities for their investment portfolio. With ESG obligations becoming increasingly rigorous, GRESB allows property developers, companies, and private property funds to properly disclose their sustainability strategies.

All About Waste recognizes the importance of ESG reporting initiatives, and helps clients prepare their business for this tool.  All About Waste also recognizes the value of sustainability on CRE businesses; decreasing operational costs, competitive advantage on leasing, tenant retention and facilitated sales processes.

Ocean Friendly Restaurants

Surfrider Foundation, dedicated to protecting our planet’s oceans, waves and beaches, created the Ocean Friendly Restaurants (OFR) Certification as an opportunity for restaurants to showcase their commitment to sustainable purchasing. This certification includes sustainable seafood, plastic use, energy efficiency and proper waste management. Many of the OFR requirements are prerequisites for other more elaborate certifications such as TRUE and LEED, but serve as an excellent starting point for emerging restaurants!
