Denise Braun is a LEED and WELL accredited professional, as well as a Fitwel Ambassador, an Envision Sustainability Professional, and a TRUE Advisor. She has over fifteen years of experience in the sustainability field, starting in Brazil and then moving to the United States. She has worked in various capacities on over 127 LEED certified projects, many of which have achieved the highest level of certification with no clarifications. Denise is currently working on several WELL projects. She recently worked on the first TRUE-certified zero waste high-rise commercial building in the world!
Denise is proficient at implementing strategies for construction documentation, sustainable purchasing, and best management practices involving tenant guidelines and building management tools and plans. Her dedication to corporate social responsibility, solid waste management solutions (including waste audits, zero waste solutions, awareness programs and technologies) and smart design, combined with her outgoing personality, result in effective collaboration, effective and creative solutions.
Lucas is a Los Angeles native and brings nearly two years of experience in the solid waste management and green building industries to his projects. He is a LEED AP BD+C, TRUE Advisor, and Fitwel Ambassador and uses this broad background to drive holistic changes and lead his projects to achieve their sustainability goals. He is most passionate about solid waste management and finding practical and creative ways to reduce or design out waste sources.
In his free time, he most enjoys spending time with family and friends, rowing, and being outdoors. Whether that means out at the beach or out on the trails, he loves getting “out of office”and strongly believes everyone should learn about and experience nature as much as they can.
Nina brings a background in architecture, a certificate degree in Sustainable Buildings, and over 3 years of experience in green building construction from Brazil. Her passion for environmental causes has led her to the sustainability field, and is what ultimately brought her to Los Angeles. She holds Sustainability Certificate from UCLA Extension and she is also LEED AP, Fitwel Ambassador, and TRUE Advisor.
She has special interest in Circular Economy and Bau Biologie (Building Biology), and how the sinergy between these two concepts can positivily change our cities and society. Her goal is to be involved with vital sustainability efforts to support relathionships of collaboration and wellbeing.
Vitor brings more than a year of experience with corporate sustainability and consulting for waste management solutions. He is a recent graduate from UCLA, where he was the President and Co-Founder of the school’s first student-led consulting club called Clean Consulting. He enjoys working with corporations and with institutions to find solutions for their sustainability goals.
Outside of the office, Vitor likes to surf, hang with friends, and travel!
